In the search for a cost-competitive manufacturing option for an innovative cooling wristband, a fitness-wearables startup needed to iterate designs and rapidly scale up the chosen option. Chromatic 3D Materials’ solution offered design flexibility and combined three manufacturing steps into one by printing an elastomeric frame onto a fabric substrate (in this case a hook-and-loop velour) and then printing a hydrogel directly inside.
