DECEMBER 10, 2024 — In collaboration with the German professional association for occupational safety, BG ETEM tested to determine levels of hazardous chemicals during printing in Chromatic 3D Materials’ German production facilities and revealed no detectable volatile isocyanates. The RX-AM™ platform has therefore been deemed safe for workers without protective measures beyond a standard enclosure.

Chromatic 3D Materials Raises $6 Million for Third Equity Issuance

September 10, 2024 — Chromatic 3D Materials, an additive manufacturing technology provider, has closed $6 million of financing for its third equity issuance. The motion-activated design is among the first garments in the world to directly embed electronics within 3D-printed elastomers. Wipprecht’s design will debut next week at Formnext, a 3D-printing event in Germany.

This new material performs well in a range of extreme cold to elevated temperatures from -30 up to 120˚ C. It is compatible with Chromatic’s RX-Flow™ printers, which are suitable for development work and low- to medium-volume industrial production.
